Musím se přiznat, že s tím, jak se hlavní dění v MTG přesunulo na MTGA, tak ve mně trochu uvadla chuť hledat stále nová a zajímavá brew, jelikož se jednak hraje především standard, kde se díky tomu, že je sezóna prodloužená téměř o jeden měsíc, de facto neděje nic zajímavého a na předních příčkách se stále dokola objevuje 5-6 stejných decků, ale také díky tomu, že turnajů je teď každý týden tolik, že v tom zcela ztrácím přehled...
Proto mi přijde o něco zajímavější se v této chvíli zaměřit na formáty jako Legacy a Vintage, kde rozhodně o zajímavé decky není nouze, ale kvůli jednomu zajímavému decklistu nemusíte prohledávat desítky výsledkových listin :)
Zdá se, že nejzásadnější změnou na legacy za poslední dobu bylo vydání Astrolabu a Oka (a Underworld Breache, který už ale v mezičase dostal ban), což jsou karty, díky kterým můžete postavit v podstatě libovolný goodstuff a nemusíte se bát, že budete mít problémy s manou (poslední MTGO challenge vyhrál 5C Snow Goodstuff).
Když se ale podíváte i na další decky, tak ve výsledcích najdete hned dvě další nové karty, které začaly formát ovlivňovat v posledních týdnech. První je Dryad of the Ilysian Grove a druhá je Once Upon a Time, u kterého mě osobně trochu zaskočilo, jak dlouho trvalo, než se na legacy začal hrát ve větším počtu (v top8 tohoto turnaje ho hrálo Cephalid Breakfast kombo a Elfové).
Teď už se ale konečně přesuneme k oněm deckům s Dryadou of the Ilysian Grove. V top32 poslední legacy challenge byly hned dva, přičemž se od sebe celkem podstatně lišily.
Ten lépe postavený (skóre 6:2) hrál Chalice of the Void a Mox Diamondy, zatímco druhý z decků (skóre 5:3) hrál Exploration, Abrupt Decaye (playset v mainu) a Elvish Reclaimery.
Pro oba decky byl společný playset Once Upon a Time, Green Sun's Zenithů a samozřejmě i Dryad. V mainu také měly oba decky větší počet Ramunap Excavatorů a Tireless Trackerů.
Další velký rozdíl byl v tom, že první verze hrála playset Primeval Titanů, zatímco druhá pouze dva kusy. Podle mne na legacy většinou platí, že konzervativnější verze s nižší křivkou dosahují lepších výsledků, takže bych se klonil k verzi s Exploracemi a Elvish Reclaimerem, zvláště i proto, že s kartami jako Oko či Brazen Borrower už Chalice of the Void není tak velká garance výhry a ani příliš nezapadá do celkového plánu decku.
Osobně by mne také zajímalo, jak často deck vyhraje na Valakut či Field of the Dead, protože samozřejmě největší zbraní decku je velmi efektivní práce s Wastelandem, který díky Dryadě a Excavatorovi můžete použít hned několikrát během jednoho kola.

Chalice of the Void
Chalice of the Void enters the battlefield with X charge counters on it. Whenever a player casts a spell with converted mana cost equal to the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void, counter that spell.
Primeval Titan
Trample Whenever Primeval Titan enters the battlefield or attacks, you may search your library for up to two land cards, put them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library.
Karakas
{T}: Add {W} to your mana pool. {T}: Return target legendary creature to its owner's hand.
Sylvan Library
You may draw two extra cards during your draw phase. If you do so, put two of the cards drawn this turn back on top of your library (in any order) or pay 4 life per card not replaced. Effects that prevent or redirect damage cannot be used to counter this loss of life.
Mox Diamond
When Mox Diamond comes into play, choose and discard a land card or sacrifice Mox Diamond. {T}: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Play this ability as a mana source.
Maze of Ith
{T}: Target attacking creature becomes untapped. This creature neither deals nor receives damage as a result of combat.
Bayou
Counts as both swamp and forest and is affected by spells that affect either. Tap to add either {B} or {G} to your mana pool.
Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle
